Chapter 1 : Formation of Words

To start learning, We need to start it with an activity. It is a test as well as a kind of learning material.

Test for those who are good in communication, and learning for people who are trying to be good in communication.

While communicating I have seen several students or individual changing their language because they don’t know what the specific object is called.

I have also seen people ending topics discussion because of lack of knowledge, And while learning English it is much difficult to hold a dictionary in a hand and read all the meanings and make sentence of each word. So I decided to create this activity.

There are several objects which are to be know to you.

  • What you are sitting on is a “Chair”.
  • You are using a “Pen” to write on a “Paper” of a “Book”.

So you should first learn what the Living or a Non living thing is called.

Here I have made some of the Examples from each letter :

Note : There are several empty slots in the table above.  The table is just a reference example. The Faculty or the student has to make his own table to improve his skills.

Start this as an activity :

From each letter you should name, 1 eatable item, 1 name of the country or place or continent, 1 Name of an non live object, 1 name of living object.

The main Object of this session is, As a simple survey I have seen people while communicating change language because they are not able to name certain objects. So they should know what are the object known to them. Secondly they will define object which they will be surrounding them. So this will help them to know new name .

Apart from this the other concept is it will be difficult for people to make them understand the name of the object by the picture. That will also limit their knowledge. They will only learn those name which you have shown them. This will help them to search new names. And human brain catches and remembers things which it searches by its own self, Where as the things taught when not kept in practice will be forgotten.

Note : For English tutors I would suggest and take this session for your own self too, And the results can be calculated in the following manner :

Tame taken 15 minutes : Expert

Time taken 30 Minutes : Good

Time Taken 45 Minutes : Average

Time taken 60 Minutes : Poor

Above this time you need to brush your knowledge as though your vocabulary is powerful, You knowledge to grow your vocabulary is decreasing. This will lead you to a poor presentation.
